Same here. Truck says 4.2.1.1 is available for download, but it doesn't actually do anything. August 23 build.Haven't gotten a single update. Had the truck since July of 23.
No, unlikely anything up to 6.8.0 will cause harm. The OTA gods have bestowed their blessings upon me! Lmao. My first ever update was 4.2.3.1 on the 14th and just received 6.1.0 now! Now the question is.. im leaving the truck parked for a week and a half. Should I turn automatic updates off until after getting back to avoid the chance of bricking the truck?
Thanks! No, unlikely anything up to 6.8.0 will cause harm.
That's not how things work. Auto-updates being off will only prevent an update the requires the vehicle to be inhibited from installing. That will not prevent the server from queueing up the next update for you. If your truck is parked and you sent an update, it will just sit in your queue until you start the truck again, as that is the only thing that will give "consent" for the OTA trigger to move on to the next step. The OTA gods have bestowed their blessings upon me!
