If they ever open them. It looks like the travel plaza site on the Ohio and Pennsylvania Turnpike aren't open to us. I'm driving to Virginia in April from Michigan, and I was hoping I could use those Superchargers.

Actually, SC's at Breezewood and New Stanton are right off the Turnpike and accessible to us. You do have to get off the turnpike but a hell of a lot better than our previous options.

I do everything that I can to avoid Bedford. Back in early 22, it was great, but there are simply too many users now. I have seen lines 5-6 cars deep. It doesn’t help that it’s 350x2, a 150, and a Chademo combo. Hoping that they upgrade the hardware at some point.

Agree - but the only option until now.

I also do not like how tight the parking area is where it’s located - make queueing even worse when it happens and since that was the only option to get across PA - there is frequently a line.

The PA Turnpike rest stop superchargers are all v2 units. The Ohio Turnpike has a combination of Superchargers and Electrify America chargers. It sounds like those superchargers are v2 as well.

According to Tesla, the site is V3.

I'm not going that far east this trip. When I go to Baltimore to Visit friends, I'll use Breezewood. I'm going to Norfolk to visit my daughter before her ship deploys, nd I want to stay as far away from DC traffic as possible.

This is the route ABRP is suggesting. I can probably stop in Girard, or maybe if I take it easy, I can make it to Cranberry. But I plan on exclusively using Tesla stations on this trip. I'm avoiding EA like the plague.

If you want to avoid DC traffic, skip I-66 and continue down I-81 to pick up I-64E. It's about 50 miles farther, but keeps you out of the traffic.
