120V x should not be run at more than 16 amp on a 20amp circuit (constant load should be no more than 80 percent of rated capacity). On a 15 amp circuit it should be drawing 12amp (1.44 kw less efficiency losses).

Good catch - not sure what I was thinking!

Revised numbers below:

Figure about 2 miles per kWhr.

So if you use the mobile charger on 240V (L2) - 240V x 30A x .95 efficiency = ~6.8kw. -> about 15 miles per hour

If you use it on 110V at 20A (16A pulled)- 110V x 16A x .85 efficiency = ~1.5kW -> about 3 miles per hour

If you use it on 110V at 15A (12A pulled) - 110V x 12A x .85 efficiency = ~1.1kW -> about 2 miles per hour

Cut each of these by ~2-3 miles per hour if charging in the cold

I’ve been exceeding 3-3.5 mi/kWh locally, but I drive easy. I even saw it creep over 4 at one point during my errands today.
That would be me getting 3.5mi/kWh driving around town and only 7 miles to work. My family say I drive like a old man, and that was when I was a young man..

L1 charger pulls 11A from 120v outlet. That's what Prius Prime does.
Depends on the vehicle and the charger. The Bolt pulls 12A.

Yeah, this is my fifth electrified vehicle, second EV. I used to not run heat in my C-Max Energi plug-in to get the most range out of it. My passengers always complained!! While I haven’t gotten to that level of “hyper milling” yet, I drive it easy most days.

Awesome write-up and pics! She's beautiful. I ordered Black Agate too so it was nice to see it in the wild!

You are cheap, haha!

Seriously I feel the best way is to use heated seats. That's why I am glad Lariat has 2nd row heated seats. Resistance heater is a terrible idea. But again, just like AC, heap pump cannot help when environment is below 20F.

One more week before my Lightning Lariat goes into production. It will be here before I realize it. Join my Mach E in the driveway. There is already a waiting list from my neighbors who drive trucks to see it and ride it. Hope I don't have to run some Disney amusement ride until everyone is happy.!!
