Im going to gloss Black our Lariat with 3M or Avery automotive wrap so it looks like the Platinum finish. That would take care of yours and upgrade as well!
Let me know how it goes! I like that gloss black too👍🏻

I kinda want to go with a paint color match wrap... Gotta find a star white vinyl.

Looks like 2022 review is on F150

This guy just went to Automotive Touch-up website, put your paint color in, and spray it ourselves.

The vinyls are hard to get the matching color. Maybe we can all search, and share.

I would guess it was a flaw in the paint, dust or something.

Did the dealer actually say no? I'd call corporate to clarify, and would expect them to either repair (can they paint this at a dealer??) or replace.

I remember when my New Mustang GT came in and the T-top had a small chip in the edge. Dealer said if I didn't want the car he could sell it to four other customers!

It didn't affect the water seal but darn I was ticked. He said he'd order me another car and I could wait if I wanted to! I took the car begrudgingly.

They agreed to schedule an appointment to “inspect” the issue. Called ford corporate. They advised that they can no directly do anything until the truck is evaluated by the dealership. They said that once it is they would follow up. We shally see on the 20th.

Definitely paint.
I’m kinda shocked that the Dealership will not replace it. Got a quote from the parts department just to know, $1300 for JUST THE GRILLE! Does not include the ford emblem with inter grated camera system. 🤦🏻‍♂️

guess ill be eagerly waiting for the aftermarket.
Paint is covers 5 years unlimited miles

So less than a month into ownership, I was washing her up and lost a piece of the paint on the grille!! No pressure washer was used this time just a garden hose. Contacted the dealership about a replacement as it seems very likely a manufacturer defect with no luck so far. Am I alone with this small but sad issue?

Good morning! Could you privately message us with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer? I'd like to assist you with this grille concern. Thank you!

I am curious. Never/ever have I used a pressure washer on a vehicle. Was one used on it before since "no pressure washer was used this time" was in the in the initial description? Easy enough to loosen the paint but not peel it off with a pressure washer and then next wash the chip comes off. Ford should have better paint and I would certainly be contacting Ford if it happened to me but still wondering about the statement.

Yes. I have used one for years as well as a foam cannon. That being said. I never use a tip that would be too much for vehicle washing and have not pressure washed this vehicle yet. Never had a problem with any of my other vehicles over the past 10 years. But I see your point.
