I use wireless Android auto every time I'm in the car. Used to be fairly quick connection (i.e. by the time my seatbelt got put on it had connected and started playing my audio from Android auto). Since the update last week, it's been between 45 second and a full minute after powering on before the car detects the phone and starts playing. Meanwhile like 30 seconds have gone by in the audio (as if it's playing but the auto on screen and audio output just isn't doing anything for a while). Anyone else notice similar?

Can you share what update you received last week? With Ford everybody gets updates at different times in different versions so we have no idea what update you’re talking about.

One of my biggest annoyances with the truck, which was the same in my ice f150 prior, is how long the infotainment takes to boot up. I can be a mile down the road from home before the center stack is awake and functioning properly. Most annoying when it reverts to some prior setting that is really obtrusive. I may have wanted loud hard rock on my way home from the gym last night, doesn't mean I want it at 6am heading to the office...

Hi there! If you'd like me to look into your concern, please send over a DM with your VIN and Ford dealer info.

I think this started happening to me after the 6.8 update.

I thought it was because I dropped my phone in a river, but I’ve been experiencing this with CarPlay.
