So I took my Lightning (‘23 ER XLT) on a road trip to see family and noticed a large drop in the range. I had to use a Level 1 charger
while there because it’s rural and that was the only option. There and back, I’ve been using Level 3 chargers rated between 50-300kW.
Do y’all think that the decreased range was all due to colder temperatures (down to 30F) and more highway driving or does DC charging have any effect?
