Just cuz they’re asking 40+ doesn’t mean someone will pay. But think of the deal you’ll be getting if you ask them to knock 20 off. that dealer will tell ya they did you a solid.

Holy shit this is down the street from me, so I'm going to swing by on my way to work.

If you see any news articles that a Lightning was stolen, that means they said no to the test drive request, but I humbly disagreed.

Just a quick update!

I called a few times this morning, but I don't think their sales office was open as no one was answering and they were closed by the time I got home.

I'm trying to establish a contact there first and give them some notice, but it looks like I'm going to be that crazy guy that shows up and starts nerding out on the new car and kicking tires.

Has anyone mentioned Ford will "fine" dealers that sell their "mannequin" (floor display and demo drive vehicle) $25,000?

I'm in no hurry to take one of the first few thousand built – let's give Ford time to work out the early bugs and quality, give the "first kid on the block" types their fill – and I'll take one in a few months once posts here report no trouble.

I just called Tuesday May 10th... Regarding the f150 in bolton. They told me that it was a mistake by ford. They should not release it to such dealer so they eneded up returning it. No longer available at that dealer.
