Didn't mention it before, but I have spray-in bed liner, but also the Ford rubber mat. I think the mat only adds 30 to 40lbs. And of course it can be taken out. Rubber mat does prevent most stuff from moving around much (i.e. if I put suitcases, etc,) UNLESS I have a panic stop...
Finally on my previous F150 I had the foldable/flippable "bed extension" that someone else posted. It worked well for keeping a limited amount of stuff near the tailgate. Decided on not getting one this time. Just using the collapsible bag I talked about in my previous post.
