I'm jealous of all of you who have been approved! I will, eventually, but until I have that $7500 check in hand I'll be anxiously waiting. Out of curiosity, when did you put your application in? Mine was submitted mid September.

OMG, I thought I was getting a check for 10% of the 7500, not the entire amount! I received it in the mail today. THANK YOU @TaxmanHog

Just wanted to mention to the MY2023 order makers, pay close attention to your VIN and window stickers, I have been informed that Tim Bartz mentioned in his last podcast that there is a shortage of AS tires, Ford is substituting AT tires for the moment and no additional cost, to the buyer.

The problem with this is that the load capacity is less on AT tires, depending on models it will be less than the qualifying level required at or greater than 8501 pounds, the few VIN's I have seen in MY23 are still showing AS tires, but this could change without notice, and you might end up with a truck at a GVWR of around 8400 pounds, this would disqualify you for the Mass MOR-EV-TRUCKS credit.

MY 2023 folks, let me know what you're seeing as you get window stickers!

This is an example of a 2023 LARIAT-ER with AT tires build week 10/28 going to KS

I have not received a reply to my inquiry with the MOR-EV-Trucks folks, regarding if the F150 Lightning will qualify, but IMHO is should as the specifications are right on the border for our trucks with some qualified with MAX TOW and others not!!

I hope your build specifications on your order sheet or the Window Sticker say 8550#, as discussed above., if it does not then you definitely will not, if it does join me in fighting for it, it's a huge value to me and will help with my home electrical upgrades.

Funny thing is, I have seen variations on the window stickers here are two examples of Lariat-ER without the MAX TOW, one shows 8550 the other 8400!

The 8550 truck has all season tires and the 8400 has all terrain.

140+ posts and 6+ months later, we sorted that factor out months ago in this and another thread, LOL.

I just emailed the dealer. I signed an order agreement that specifies the "All season" tires and was never notified of any changes. I suspect they will do whatever they can.
So after several conversations with my dealer and Ford Marketing (800-392-3673), it seems that Ford is experiencing a supply shortage on the All Season Tires and is changing configurations on the backend to the All Terrain tires without any communication to the buyers. I am not getting anywhere through normal channels, though my dealer is engaged in the issue, just not optimistic. Any suggestions on contacts at Ford?

I wonder if the shortage is absolute or they have a trickle of supply or could switch out from ICE trucks, especially those sitting on dirt mountain waiting for chips/etc. to preserve the viability of the EV credit where it's impacted (Mass buyers in particular)!!!!???

@Ford Motor Company please pass this idea up the chain to the CEO's

It would be a great opportunity for Ford to show customer appreciation! I would be happy to send them the tires if it meant it could be done for my truck build in ~ 2 weeks.
