While it’s somewhat frustrating that the EAP program seems limited to answering surveys, the most recent was dedicated to pro power use and whether it was important to be able to use Pro Power with the vehicle off. Please respond if you get the survey invite- as the last survey directed at improvements resulted in a fantastic update addressing many of the concerns present with a fairly quick turn around. Just my .02 as someone who hates that my truck has to be on to use bed outlets….

I got this as well. They are either seeing people’s requests online or realized that their plan was not fully thought out.

Yes, I got this survey and mainly complained about the laggy app access and being able to run power without having the leave the truck turned on.

I guess my opinion on anything doesn't count. When I answered the question about how often I've used Pro Power Onboard, which is never, the survey ended.

What if you never use it because the implementation sucks?

Ford says, "He's no early adopter"
But would you have used it if it didn’t require the truck to be

clearly you should say you’ve used it once so you can do the rest of the survey, and tell them you’d use it more but the implementation sucks

Yeah super happy to see all the questions about being able to use it when the truck is off, and also clear faults from the app.

These two are my biggest gripes from using Pro Power to back power my house. It sucks to have to go out into a blizzard to turn on the truck (often causing snow to enter the car), then remember to turn off the HVAC and headlights, etc.

And sometimes I briefly accidentally go over the 30A limit because of a large appliance, and need to go repeat the same song and dance.

100% we need "generator mode" and if you have a Key fob (or PAAK) with you you should not need to enter the cabin to activate it. Options should be 1) Use Fordpass app. 2) Use a "Press and Hold" or some sort of similar shortcut using the button for the Truck Bed light next to the bed outlets 3) Something similar with the button to open the Frunk or have an accessory "start" button that would use the USB outlets in the Frunk.

Also, yes the laggy app is a pain.

I went hard on this survey. They need to fix what could be an amazing feature by eliminating the constant notifications, switching off the inverter every time the vehicle power is cycled, and enabling a generator mode of some kind (or just let the fucking thing work when the car is off)

This feels like one of the biggest marketing misrepresentations (IMO) of the system, but the have the ability to fix it. Please Ford.

I wish I had more clarity regarding the Pro Power staying on when the battery is below a certain level.

With a SR battery in cold climate, the Pro power essentially defaults to off using the truck's default settings. I get the message on every phone in my house and my car every time I turn the truck on, telling me it is off. I would keep pro power on to avoid this message, but I assume there's a hit on range if I do? Why else would it turn off if there wasn't? What's the hit on range keeping it on, versus turning it off? Why can't I turn this message off easily on my phone?

I said the pro power should be on by default and to provide a power point global timer setting never, 15minutes, 30, 60, 240 or always. I get the fact that bed outlets are typically accessible and don’t want someone stealing power but for me with a bed cover all my outlets should have power whenever I want it without having to start the truck, turn off the heat, turn off lights, turn off radio and go into sync and say yes I really do want power.

PS every one of these surveys ends with my comment that the Ford pass app is by far the worst app ever. Laggy, not intuitive, doesn’t work half the time, etc.
