The cyber truck fanatics are an interesting lot. One guy told me that the cyber truck is the only EV work truck currently in the pipe line. When I asked why he didn’t consider the lightning a work truck, his response was that the F150 platform was too obsolete. I didn’t even know how to respond to that.I can't tell. Are the users on that sight really planning on using their Cybertruck as a boat, or are they being sarcastic?
$120kCT is going to be amazing.
- 200kWh+ battery, 500+ mile range
- 350kW charge speed using the superior Supercharger network
- 3 second 0 to 60
- 3500lb payload, 14Klb+ towing
- bullet resistant body, stronger than normal glass
- autopilot (even the free autopilot is better than bluecruise)
- stressed skin construction + 2 megacastings
- air suspension, auto leveling, raising and lowering +/- 4 inches
- flux capacitor for time travel above 88mph
The real question is how much it will cost.

I'm guessing they will surprise us with a price significantly less than $100K and there is no ADM with Tesla. There will be the early flippers of course and they will be hard to get for a while. Tesla has more than 1.5 million reservations for CT!Before market adjustments
I laughed really hard and then realized you actually believe this nonsense.I'm guessing they will surprise us with a price significantly less than $100K and there is no ADM with Tesla. A big reason for the way the CT looks is for simpler manufacturing. The CT is going to be two large castings integrated into a stressed skin shell. The shell is stainless steel cut, folded, and bonded/welded. The new 4680 batteries in theory will be cheaper. The electronic stuff is roughly the same as the cars. COGs for the CT might be surprisingly low since size isn't really the dominant cost driver.
We'll see.....
