I looked at the 2024 owners manual, there is no mention of a lever to release the park lock on the rear drive unit. I suspect the tow operator & Ford CSR are confused.

So I got home and reset my key and backup passcode, but the new key also doesnt work. Now I use the Fob.
Something has gone wrong somewhere. I have appointment to take into Ford next week

Mine is doing the same thing now. Wireless CarPlay works, PAAK does not - even erased it and reset the PAAK. Also won’t connect to Open Frunk or Tailgate

I went to dealer, got recalls and updates taken care of, reset my phone and backup passcode and it works again.
however, i will bring a FOB if i go far from home. Don’t trust it 100% anymore.

They withheld that feature to the Lariat and Plat. I haven’t heard of people even being able to hack it in. Even without PAAK you can use the app to lock and unlock. If you pull the battery out of a key fob you can still use it in the cup holder slot. So hide a battery less fob in the truck and you can get by just carrying your phone around.
It’s still a bit more convenient to have PAAK, but with all the problems it tends to have I never could trust it when I had it on my MME
