New Platinum Lightning - Issues with seat massage

Hi all,

Not sure if anyone has any ideas/tips before already scheduling a dealer visit. I picked up the truck this afternoon and drove it home and tried out the massaging seats and it worked the entire drive. I was home for a couple hours before I had to go back out and get the kids after school and tried to turn mine on but while it activates on the screen, nothing happens. The passenger one continues to work fine.

Tonight we went out to dinner and the massage still doesn't work, but I gave the truck full throttle for a second and shortly after the massaging seat came on but only for about five seconds. Hasn't come back on since.

The heat/cool works, power adjustments work, just not massaging.

I checked for codes, but the only recent code was:
HVAC
B10AF:13 :08
Blower Fan Relay

I put that into the diagnostics search and it talks about HVAC as I would expect, but the HVAC fan seems fine.

I had Forscan up earlier to turn off double honk and that, and reset the Body Control Module while I was in there, but no difference. The seats stopped working before I did anything with Forscan to be absolutely clear.

I hope it's something easy. Before your appointment look under the seat that's not working for any wiring harness that might have become disconnected. Compare that to the functioning seat to see if there are any differences. This part of the system might be a blind command to turn on and off without feedback to tell you it's broken, therefore no CAN codes on the BCM loop. .

Try disconnecting your 12v battery first. Wait about 30 sec and reconnect and see if that fixes before dealer time.
Sometimes programs just get stuck in outer space
And they just need to be reset.

Thanks all! Yeah I tried looking at the wiring first, but it's tiiiight under there, especially on the Platinum as there are a few wire bundles and connections plus the pump it looks like. I am going to see if I can raise the seat all the way and get a better look.

I may try the 12V, but I am losing hope it won't just be going to the dealer.
