Got your message, and you do show a 2 there:

Your truck is on the latest Sync and IPMA software. It is actually very close to being fully up to date. I don't have a Lightning, so not sure if 22-23 trucks are supposed to have those buttons there or not like his truck does, but if your truck is supposed to have them, I am sure that can be fixed, too.

I can tell you that putting a 3 in that location with FORScan will for sure fix the smaller views issue.

@bewbie, I had exactly the same issue with mine after the front sensor CSP. I fixed it with a cheap, $15 OBD adapter I bought years ago. It was simple, I took more time researching what to do vs the actual time it took to fix.

@rugedraw After my front sensor CSP, I had to fix the small camera but still had the menu button to see my camera options. When OTA 6.14 came in, that screen was updated to the new UI and I had what bewbie's friend has. I think there's discussion somewhere in that thread where Mike (I think) pointed out that the tech's where not running the IPMA config, which correctly applies the update that was pushed. My guess is that 6.14 ran that config for me.

This would be done with FORScan....not FDRS. If you have it, I can walk you through it easily.

Well, his APIM is updated to the equivalent of 10.1.0, so the config would need to be fixed manually. I don't know what needs to be done to fix that by memory like I do the camera image size issue, but I'm sure I can figure it out.

Someone on the forums helped me update my blue cruise maps in forscan or fdrs remotely when I shared my computer. Can something like that be done to fix my camera issue?

I can remote in and fix it if you want, but you'd still need the cable and the software.

You can download a two month trial license for free. Technically you can keep downloading another after it expires, but throwing $20 the developer's way for a year isn't bad. Download FORScan. Or you can just tell the dealer to do their job and fix it in FDRS since it's only messed up beause they didn't follow directions in the first place.

Ah yea......I remember that now. I'm not sure if that issue causes any real world problems, but this is a misconfiguration in the APIM and not related to this. This happens after an certain APIM update on the Lightnings; don't remember which is the one that caused it.

Ah, sorry. I thought that was the config that was missed for the buttons as other people mentioned the menus change when their CSP was done. Good to know.

Ok so I got 24.2.5.6.1 on 9/3. After that date I had the 2 CSPs done (24B56 and 24B50) in 2 different dealer appointments. Since then I have had no updates besides the updates done at the dealer via FDRS. I am in EAP and always had updates the same day as they get posted on this forum, but since 9/3, nothing. Granted they updated many modules for the CSP including APIM for the karaoke update.

How do I know if the truck checks for updates? FordPass works fine so TCU seems to work. And I have the connected icon.
