One pedal is the way to go, I love it. Except when its snowy or icy, they really need a snow mode with less regen, the one pedal lift off skid is terrifying to a seasoned snow belt driver. A little regen would probably be ok, but the way it is now the front end slides around a little too much and a little too unpredictably for my liking.
I leave my one pedal on in the winter too but could be dangerous if you don't leave extra room between vehicle and you are forced to let up on the accelerator very quickly. I've gotten so used to it that I hate to turn it off. I just slow way down, leave extra space between cars and release my accelerator very slow. Similarly to pressing on the brake pedal lightly to avoid a skid on an icy road.

Question.
When do your brake lights come on with 1-Pedal? I feel like every time I let off the accelerator, the brake lights should come on. If they aren’t, do I risk getting rear-ended?
Experiment with that at night when there's no traffic you can see your brake lights come on in your side mirrors to answer your question.

I leave mine on all year round. I tested it this winter just letting off the gas and the abs took right over. Nonissues at all. No skidding or anything.

Considering you bring up a thread that's over a year old to reply 5 times within an hour and even quote yourself, I'm getting the impression that you really like 1-pedal, is that correct ?
Definitely . But it's definitely a personal preference. There are a lot of people that don't use it. But I don't understand why.

I really enjoy it my self for the first month or 2 I was anti 1 pedal but 6 months later I have not looked back, and I like that the truck holds once at a complete stop. (With no annoying ice cut on/off noise)

The wife seems to think I drive better with 1 pedal as well! So it's a double win!
