Appointment with the dealer in a couple of weeks over a small issue with Mache and will see if Ford will deal with this

Is it the photo or am I seeing chrome under the black?
My lariat had a chunk of paint come off shortly after delivery almost two years ago. Ford swapped the grille under warranty

I have a similar stuff on my pessenger door front edge and upper edge at the inside. It seems like bubbling.... Our truck is a 2022 monocan, purchased 2024 March. We have so many issues: dash coming apart from instrument cluster trim, driver door water stripping edge cracked, wireless phone charge mount half broken, sub wafer grill had missing clips - fixed, driver side step rail flood light water intrusion, keep loosing coolant while to open up almost 2,5 gallon, sun roof fixed glass seal is coming apart, front bumper driver side apron popping out and now have to restart infotainment because navigation stuck....

What’s a “monocon”? Sound like unfortunately you’ve had a lot of issues. That sucks.

I bet he meant 'mannequin'; a dealer demo truck that can still typically be sold as new despite hundreds or thousands of test miles.

Thanks for that. In all my years dealing with cars I’ve never heard of a dealer car or “demo” referred to as a “mannequin” that’s a new one. Learn something new everyday. 🤣

Yeah, it's not a term I'd heard before Ford either but that's what they call 'em. My Atlas Blue 2022 was a "mannequin" with 2xxx miles on it.
Cheers

Are you in the states or is this maybe a Canadian thing?

US, see the document I edited onto my last post, it's a thing, no maple leaves necessary.

Hi there, Zoltan. This bubbling paint concern doesn’t sound like something we want you to experience with your Lightning. Could you please send us a PM with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer? I'd be happy to look into how I can assist you on my end. Was calling around yesterday several dealerships about a new lighting Flash. 1 of the dealerships got back to me with an offer for a "New" 22 platinum with 900+ miles. 30k discount.. I called and asked what's up with this. Dealer demo and had some recalls they waited a long time for parts.

They can't do a lease, but it's being sold as new with a full warranty. Anyone interested I can refer you to the dealership in LA..
