Personal Profile photo deleted

Has anyone else experienced the issue of trying to change their personal profile photo only to lose the existing photo altogether ?

Yesterday I tried updating the profile because I updated the photo of my card on my phone. The truck did not update with the change. When I went to try and get a new photo my existing one came off and now I only have the stock icons.

I have tried deleting my profile, deleting contacts, re-downloading and all those tips. The most irritating thing is that I had a picture for over a year and just wanted to make a simple change. Any advice on how to add photos back?

I know it is a minor thing but I just want things to work they are supposed to. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Double check that you haven’t added your phone number to a second contact. Two key items for getting the photo to the truck - connect with blue tooth and not car play or android auto and make sure your phone number is on a single contact only once.

Thank you for the reply. I believe I have done all of those things, especially since I managed to get a picture on before. When I type my own number into my phone my name comes up and no other contact does. Is there any other way to check? I have an iPhone.

I have tried several times since buying the truck and have never gotten it to work. The only profile pictures available are the icons that came loaded originally.

I do not even have an option for the “Intelligent Suggestions” when trying to create a new profile and it is no where in the menu to allow for it like the owner’s manual states.

When I did it the first time a year ago I got the prompt “To set a profile photo, you must have a photo set up as your contact photo in your contact list.” It won’t do it this time around, so I don't know what else to do.

Sorry that the old threads were no help, yes, some of them reference SYNC designs of the past so that's a bummer that you can't replicate / restore your photo. That said, I'm not going to mess up my configuration trying to confirm the broken process.
