Just got truck back from a looooong service visit that ultimately ended up being a BCM replacement.

Walked away from truck and was greeted with this wonderful little notice!

May be old news for some but didn’t have this prior to the service.

Jealous I couldn't get this on my XLT. Its one of the two only things I wanted with that higher trim. Hope it works for you. Its fantastic on my Tesla.

Such a simple thing but awesome. Had it on the loaner Mach-e for a month and got used to it.

Nice. Hoping that OTA update comes our way at some point. We had the MME first and I can't tell you how many times our truck has been left unlocked since we got so used to the walk-away lock on the MME first. Not so much me, but my wife and kids on the occasions they use it, leave it unlocked regularly. I set up a habit of pressing the lock button on FordPass every evening just to make sure.
This may be a good automation for Home Assistant when I figure it out.

100% agree this is a backup. I'm not usually the one who forgets . I even lock the MME with the buttons - my wife laughs at me, and I need to gently remind her when she forgets to lock the truck.

It seems that the HA integration is transitioning to the new APIs. I might have to wait a few weeks until the next version is released.
