Pro Power Charger vs $8k Rebate?

My dealer is saying that my 2024 Lightning Lease doesn't NOT come with the charger and install because I took an $8k rebate. I have literally no idea what they are talking about. Is anyone else running into this? Should I be pushing back on the dealer?

Ask them to itemize the rebates. There was an option to take a money rebate instead of having a charger installed. You may have took the money.

I think forgoing the $1000 or $1500 power station is part of the $8k if I followed my sales agents numbers this week when I got a new lightning. I had a 23 so when I got the 24 I took the rebate. I purchased mine instead of leased it so the rebates could very well be different

There was an extra $1000 in rebate available if you didn’t take them up on the free charger. There was a page in my lease that itemized all the incentives, maybe yours has something similar.

We recently got a brand new 2023 (Nov 2024) and we got the free FCSP (via a code and ordered it online) and we got a $2000 discount on the truck for installing the charger ourselves (as opposed to them having Sunrun do it)
But that's a far cry from $8000.

If you took the rebate for the charger you did yourself a favor. Get a reliable, inexpensive 48a EVSE (like Emporia) for under $400. Your installation costs will be well below the difference still. $2k of your rebate should be the Ford Power Promise.

I'm sorry to say this Jay brother, but I think the dealership may have FAILED to DISCLOSE this very significant factor. They were most likely using these "Incentives" to help push their old inventory out for the new and upcoming '25 model. I am not sure how long ago you have signed off on your lease deal, but you MIGHT be able to have it revised and have them recalculate the lease agreement so that they can provide you with your Ford Home Charger Station Pro.

I thought their ongoing promotion offers complimentary* home charger and installation to help ease off the transition of fully switching into an EV

You have the choice of taking that charger and installation or an additional $2k rebate off the truck.

Depending on when you leased the truck, it is either a $1,000 or $2,000 rebate in leu of a charger. I made sure to get the charger instead of the cash as it was only $1,000 rebate for me in December. The install for my area is in the $800 - $1,200 range.
