Pro Power Install Tomorrow (allegedly)

Well, after only a few months of ownership the local installer will be out tomorrow to install the “ford power promise”. I will post photos of the install, assuming it happens with no problems.

I have seen many folks on here with differing levels of knowledge and am wondering if you’ve done it and what you would do differently or have them do differently next time? Thanks in advance!

When installing a charger think about flexibility. I mounted mine inside the garage but near the garage door. With the length of the 20' cord on our charger there are 3 parking spots available for EVs to park and be in range of the 20' cord.

Mine gets installed Monday next week. Will be on inside of garage right by door. Main panel is opposite on exterior wall. Didn't want it outside cause have a stone exterior on house. I will run cord under garage door. Might get one of those cord spaces or a thicker seal if i see any issues.

Mine is installed inside the garage near the door but I have to use a cable protector to shut the garage door and fill the gap with some draft stoppers. I think if i had it to do over I would have installed the charger inside the garage between the doors and extend the cable through the wall.
