Has anyone figured out a way to change the sound generator, like on a Tesla. Sound is ok (I assume people can hear the truck sound outside the truck?) Seems awful low volume. Maybe a Ferrari F1 V 12 sound would wake em up LOL. Plus, the sound makes the truck quicker, like stickers.

I’m also wondering how to change the sound. I think it’s referred to as the pedestrian warning sound. A few different sound options on the screen would be nice.

There's supposed to be an audible tone when an electric vehicle is traveling under (I think) 30 mph so people around it can hear. If the Lightning is making one I can't hear it in the cab, but I can hear a backup tone...

I live in a neighborhood with narrow streets, and no sidewalks, so folks typically walk in the middle of the roadway. When I come up behind them, I have yet to have anyone notice the vehicle till I’m 15-20feet away, and at that point you should hear the tires. So if there is a noise, it’s pretty minimal. I do hear a whirrr when accelerating from zero, but I don’t know if that’s coming from speakers or the motors.

The truck indeed emits a noise. If your in a garage, the noise comes on when shifting out of park. Its like an electronic hum. Reminds me of a UFO hovering over the house lol. But I have noticed that on other EVs you can hear them from a couple of feet away because their noise is so loud and distinct. You can barely hear the Lightning in a closed room.
