PTS/FDRS VIN Check Thread

According to the SSM, it could have been a loose battery terminal cable. It could have also just been a glitch in the module matrix where the module didn't wake up in time when you started the truck and it caused that error. If it does not do it repeatedly, I would not be concerned.

Also, and I apologize if this is not the right place, I've got my truck scheduled to go in and deal with the lightbar replacement recall, but not sure what (if anything) I should do about the four (4) "customer satisfaction programs" related to my vehicle. I discussed with the nice man at the dealership, but he didn't really seem to know either.

Last OTA you got was the CMR-FX one which is the equivalent to 6.13.0, so you've gotten all of the power-up updates, but are still missing some of the bug fix ones. Nothing to be worried about in terms of updates.

You don't have to do anything about the open FSA's. When you take it to the dealer, they will check the truck out to see if it qualifies for any of them or not and either address it, or determine your truck doesn't need them and then they will come off of your VIN.

Seems like you just bought this truck. All I can tell you is that the modem has been properly activated and your truck is talking to the cloud just fine. You just have to wait for updates to start coming in.

Your truck is on the latest Sync version and you recently got an update for the door modules. You are showing very few modules pending updates; nothing to worry about here.

Your truck is on the latest Sync version and has recent updates in the OTA history. Last power up update was 6.4.0 followed by the Tesla charger update and the connectivity update. You are not fully up to date, but not very far behind.

Your truck is talking to the cloud just fine. Nothing has been sent to you since April which is not abnormal.

Not 100% sure, but your truck is reporting these codes at the IPMA & SOBDM, so that could be a clue.

Thanks. It would be nice to know if this is something that is eventually going to be fixed by an OTA, or if I need to take it in to the shop. I'll probably just wait a little longer, and if it's not fixed by the time I need the tires rotated, I'll ask them to look into it then.
