I had a noise that bugging me for weeks. Sound like spoon sliding along the edge of a bowl. It was 4 safety pins in a rear door storage compartment sliding back and forth.
I think sounds like that are much more noticeable in these trucks because they are normally so darn quiet.

I noticed quite a few rattles. One was the jack, it definitely rattles because it's metal on metal. I wrapped it in a T-shirt and then resecured it, problem solved

The rattle on the passenger side was extremely frustrating. I finally figured out that if I press the door panel hard against the door, it stopped. I remove the door panel which was pretty easy, and I sealed the air gap plastic sleeve with a duct tape seal and there is metal on metal contact where the door handle meets the door, you'll see a thick metal triangular piece. I put several layers of duct tape on this and then I put felt tape around all the pushpins and that appears to solve the problem.

Hey thanks to all…after nearly dismantling my truck, I found the issue. I have a dealer installed, 3 panel foldable, Ford branded bed cover. It is attached to the bed with thumb screws and clips. The two front clips nearest the cab were loose. I also adjusted the tension on the rear clips. No more rattle. My sanity is returning slowly.

Not the sexiest post I know but I’ve got a rattle in my backseat of my 2023. Tried folding the seats up, down can’t find the source…driving me nuts. Anyone with something similar? Hate to waste my time at the dealership.
Yes, my back seat rattles from time to time when I hit a bump in the road...I wonder if when I unlatched the back upright part to see what was behind there maybe I didn't get it relatched properly? It was a bit of a struggle to unlatch the the back of the back seat so it could be it is hard to relatch as well..

I had lifted the back seat up one time as well, to see how much space would be available behind the front seats that way...I left it up and then while driving when I had to make a sudden stop, down it came. I guess I don't know how to raise it and keep it raised securely.

Ghosts in the machine?
That’s what I thought. I partially dismantled the truck looking for the ghost. It was the dealer installed, Ford branded bed cover. It’s attacked to the bed with a clip that is tightened with a thumb screw. The two nearest the cab were loose. Tightened them and the problem was solved.

I have an after market bed cover (tonneau cover from Tyger Auto) and now and then I have to tighten things up - about once every few months - I'm thinking since I don't take it off very often I might put some loctite thread locker on to minimize the crawing back under it to tighten things.
