Just a follow up note to all of you that have received your shipped email.

I received that email dated 1-7-2025. Still no adapter and the tracking link still says “the tracking number can’t be accessed.’

I was one that was on the list of defective adapters sent out (received mine in June) and I just received the email from Ford that my replacement has shipped:

just wanted to let the forum know…

now I just need the BC 1.4 update… Come on @Ford Motor Company you can make it happen…

I received that email dated 1-7-2025. Still no adapter and the tracking link still says “the tracking number can’t be accessed.’

I got a FedEx notice on 1/8 and the Ford email on 1/9. Was delivered on 1/10 (was supposed to be 1/9 but weather delayed). Original order 9005331. Replacement order 9105331.

Ford tracking email initially did not work, then worked once, now not working again. Highly recommend you sign up for the free FedEx Delivery Manager. You won’t need a tracking number. It shows all packages headed your way.

I have not received the normal FedEx email yet. I’m betting the package has not actually made it to them and likely never will since it’s been so many days.

I had almost the identical issue with my A2Z adapter that had to be replaced as well. In that case a call to them prompted a next day replacement that came in without an issue.

I must have some really bad karma with the shipping Gods.

Received my replacement on 01/07/25.
it was the Tesla smaller one again, same as first one looks and size. Original order number was approx FAE:910047xx

Same here. The shipping notification email tracking link doesn’t work and my fedex account advanced delivery notifications show no inbound packages. Sigh.

Gotcha. Weighs the same despite being a completely different design is good to know. Folks were actually weighing the old and replacement adapters when they were both the original Tesla model. Trying to discern a difference since there was no visible difference. I thought that’s what you were going for.

I actually weighed them. The Lectron is 1lb 15.5 oz. The original Tesla one is "about" 5 oz lighter.

I say "about " because I already packed the original adaptor to ship back and weighed it with it's box I estimate the box is 2-3 oz. The boxed original is 3 oz lighter than the Lectron unboxed.

After a short runaround between Ford and FedEx I have, what I believe is the straight story, for those of us that received the shipped email but can’t track the shipment.

It seems they printed far too many FedEx shipping labels vs the number of adapters they received to ship. This left some number of us expecting to receive our replacements when in fact they will not be coming anytime soon.

I called the number listed in the email and spoke to a representative that reached and provided me the information and a case # to use to follow up with. The indication was it be at least another week and likely two before a replacement label would be generated and the adapter actually shipped.

Bottom line, if you have not received your adapter and can not track it using the email link you are likely in the same boat as I am.

What’s another two weeks after waiting a year!!

Yup, Ive called three times. The last time when I asked for the tracking number they came back and said it wasn't working. This is the email I received the second time:

We have received the escalation request for your order FAE:91003509. Upon further research, I see this order shows shipped as of 12/26. Due to the high demand and shipping times, we do allow 30 days for movement to occur. If you do not see any changes by 1/25, you will need to speak with our Battery Electrical Vehicle team for further assistance. I've included their contact information below.
