Replacing a side mirror with camera on 2024 Ford Lightning Flash Trim

I’m trying to replace a cosmetically damaged side mirror on my Ford F150 Lightning Flash Trim. I bought a used mirror off of eBay. Everything seems to fit in nicely except the cameras lose functionality when I plug in the new one. Attached a photo of that here. Is the fix as simple as copying the codes that my old side mirror displays on forscan and making sure those same codes for IPMA on forscan are there for the new mirror?

Can you swap the old camera with the new one?

I'm not sure changing the mirror out affected any codes already in the IPMA that you could change back. If you don't get an answer here check the 14th gen forum, lots more trucks and thus broken mirrors over there .

Could be you need to run a calibration routine either in FORScan or FDRS.

Yes, if your damaged mirror’s camera was still okay and worked properly, take apart both mirrors and swap original camera into replacement eBay mirror.
However, your photo shows multiple cameras not working. Maybe more is going on with your situation?

I think the camera in a replacement mirror can have that effect on the front and both side cameras. The XLT Power Folding Mirror thread has similar posts that were resolved by swapping over the old camera.

Thanks guys! Yes plugging in the faulty camera seems to stop all of the front and side cameras from showing. I’ll give the camera replacement a try, was hoping that something on forscan would activate the new camera but doesn’t seem so.
