Now that Rivian EVs can start charging at Tesla Superchargers, is Rivian would open their network to other EVs including Mach Es and Lightnings. Near my home Rivian has opened 6 stalls for FC off I85 in Greenville SC. When I tried to charge 6 months ago, I got rejected. What about now??
Also they have short cables just like V3 SC.
Anyone has any better experience with Rivian chargers???

They plan to open their network by the end of the year. I suspect they want to get all of their owners the adaptors in hand before crowding their small but important network with non-Rivian evs

Doesnt matter to me.... Rivian apparently does not realize the Midwest is part of the country! Which is a bit odd seeing as how they are assembled in Illinois. Michigan is the only state in the midwest with any Rivian DCFC.

Yes, see the latest news on this:

Yes and no, depending on the area. Rivian’s RAN placed several stations in our outback areas as we had shitty options. So those areas the users will hate to see an influx of on Rivian trucks given it 50-75 miles to the next non-Rivian DCFS currently.

In general, options are getting better. Six months ago the options looked a bit grim. Now, Tesla network is available and Rivian later this year. It is looking better but not everywhere. I agree with your post.
It can only get better. Also, it will be less stressful if the infrastructure blended all these different options in one network and displayed it in our interstates with their dedicated signs.
Signage costs money, so I will wait for that wish to come true.

Rivian has DCFCs in Hays, KS. A couple months ago I tried to charge at one with no success. It's located very close to the Superchargers and EA is right there as well at the Wally World. So when all of this opens up there will be close to 20 DCFCs in Hays, KS and no chargers in a lot of areas where they are desperately needed (think SD and WY).

While true, those are V2 superchargers so not open to non-Teslas. The new supercharger in Russell is, though.

On the west side of Knoxville on I40 a Flying J billboard mentioned EV charging. It actually was a very nice station that had room for vehicles with trailers to pull through. It was very prominently signaged as a GM station or something like that.
Has anyone else seen a GM branded station?
The Flying J was very nice too. Dennys restaurant attached to it. Great business model.
