Looking at various Power Update threads, it seems many late season MY23's and a handful of MY22's are in the process of catching up to the rest of us, everyone who is at 6.8.0 is in a holding pattern, waiting for defective 6.13.0 to be mitigated and then revised 6.13.0 to roll out, likely in March.
Or April. May, maybe June. Or July. Certainly by August...

I have a 23 Lariat ER, Blend Date 8/14. I received an Update attempt (2/10) for 4.2.1.1 - but my Truck rejected is as there was a Ford server/update payload issue. I was told to wait two weeks for a resend. I love this Truck, but the lack of updates is now really testing my patience with Ford Corporate. Ford Corporate tells me my Dealer is best to troubleshoot - but the Dealers and my Dealer is fine - but not going to be EV certified, say talk to Corporate. The Ford OTA so-called team on the phone cannot talk to engineers at Ford, I wonder if Ford ICE updates are this hard.

Ford owners should be able to request a failed-pushed update like you can on an apple iPhone.
@itdwebman

an interesting take on testing your patience.

Ford day in and day out demonstrates itā€™s not a tech company. Keep your expectations low. These arenā€™t equivalent to android or iPhone version updates by any means
if An update was safety related there would a recall and an avenue to do a dealer update.

none of the updates are critical and and add a few dash niceties, not one increases efficiency-so itā€™s probably all good.

iā€™ve experienced ford frustration. Update install failed over 56 times then expired leaving an install error that I was told would magically (my word) go away. It didnā€™t.

as an alternative, if you feel like you are missing something, you can update yourself.
there is a terrific thread here about using FDRS for self updating.

Is there anyone that can run my VIN to see if there are any updates out there for me? I'm getting a little discouraged at this point.

Thanks for sharing your context. Clearly, I need more patience.

10/12/23 blend, built about two weeks later, and delivered 12/11 got 4.2.3.1 on 2/14 so theyā€™re rolling slowly but surely.

Same for us ...

I have been on 6.8 since 12/23, so I have more fortunate than others. I have nothing in my queue and already have updated to the latest BECM code due to the recall. Hopefully the next OTA PU/Software Update 7 (which I reported earlier) will be pushed out soon. which seems to have BC 1.4.

I've seen 3 updates in the last 2 weeks. But that was 4.1, 4.2 and today was 23-PU0724-DOM-RS (updated the digital owners manual, I couldn't live without that one). Definitely catching up quickly.

My last update was PU0306-BCF-DET, which was done on 7/15/2023.
That's 216 days since my last update. (7 months)
Exactly my update and situation. My last update was also July 2023 and called numerous Ford people and 3 trips to the dealerships to no avail. Everyone just tells me to go home and wait. No one can explain or give me a reason

In the last week I went from whatever version I got on delivery in December to 4.2.3.1 a week ago to 6.1 today. Between my experience and other mid to late ā€˜23 purchases in this thread it feels like the glass tower is finally getting folks up to date, and @TaxmanHog, we may not be too far off of BC 1.4. šŸ˜

Yes I was excited to see the alert thinking maybe something cool and exciting this time, nope an entire update to update the digital owners manual........... I am sure there is some reason this had to be it's own update ( maybe size of the file) maybe it has the exciting new features that are to come in further updates lol, ford as always keeping us in suspense with every step of the lightning

I also recā€™d 23-PU0724-DOM-RS today. It seems like this is just an updated digital owners manual, right?
