I wouldn't do much more. I would immediately get dealer involved. Have it towed up there.
Agreed. The challenge is that I live on a somewhat remote island and have had a Ford roadside assistance request in for 24+ hours with none of the contractors willing to come over here and pick the truck up. Total pain in the ass.

What is the voltage on the 12v battery read at the terminals while you are attempting to turn on the truck? What is it with the truck off and the keys far away?

Is the humming coming from the seat, like it is trying to position itself but doesn’t have enough power?

The only thing that makes me think it might be battery related still is that the Sync system comes on briefly, although if I were betting I would probably put more money on a bad connection. Is there any sign of mouse damage?
No apparent signs of mouse damage. I didn't remove wheel well panels but I looked everywhere and everything *looks in order*.

Are wires on your terminal block loose? Your symptoms sound similar to mine when my wire was loose.

Just checked these connections and all seem secure. I also checked the grounding points on the Fram that I can see from the wheel well and from crawling under the truck and those ALSO seem secure.

It WAS raining the night after I drove, before this happened. But besides that the truck was largely undisturbed. Will charge the 12V again all night and see if that fixes it, but did that last night with no success.

Sorry to see you having this issue. I hope it turns out to be an ‘easy’ fix in the end. @Ford Motor Company

Oh man, I feel for you .. I would be in the same boat, well actually a slightly longer one. Island living has taught me a lot about self reliance and auto repair. Sometimes I just have to keep trying every weird thing I think of and have to retry stuff that I thought I had already tried. Good luck! AAA or your insurance might help?

There is probably a fuseable link on the battery, and it can be easy to blow it when charging from another vehicle. (Ask me how I know). Check the voltage at some point after the battery, just trace the red or black cable to where it is connected. Avoid anything orange. See if you have good voltage there, sometimes it can be partially blown. It isn’t a big deal to replace, they are at NAPA. Basically just follow the red cable as far as you can and make sure that you see the same voltage everywhere.

You might also just try swapping batteries.

Ford Emergency Response card

This has information about disabling the truck for firefighters, maybe look at all of those items and see if anything is amiss or disconnected. The “Connector Position Assurance” clip looks like it disconnects the HV battery.

Well, this mess continues. Ford road side assistance finally showed up and we, after starting with a fully charged 12V, could not get the truck out of neutral. Given where it is located that prevented them from getting it on a flat bed. So the wait to get this to a dealer goes on.

Really appreciate the above suggestions, I've tried everything besides following the leads to their extremities - just don't have time during the week. At this point, I don't feel like I can rely on this truck, and I've poured more time into sorting this out than I would expect over the lifetime of the vehicle.

Gosh and still radio silence from the Ford media lurkers on this forum?

That's interesting....normally they jump right in to offer to take your info....

I've had no issues with my truck thus far (beyond failed software updated), but after driving it extensively on Saturday evening, it would not start on Sunday afternoon. The lights would come on but both screens were blank. I could not get the shifter out of park and there was a strange humming noise coming from forward of the driver seat. I attempted to jump the vehicle with an ICE vehicle per the manual instructions, but that did change anything. I then charged the 12V battery to ensure it was at full charge, and that also yielded the same results. During this time the truck would not recognize an external charge via the charge port.

As of now this thing seems bricked. I've read every single relevant threat but am out of options with Ford requiring me to go on a goose chase to get mobile service out (not easy as I live in a remote location). Is there ANYTHING else this group thinks I should try?

Have the dealer check the codes from the cloud. Maybe that'll give us some clues.

I proactively reached out to Ford on here, but their goal was to send me to a dealer that has mobile service (close as the crow flies) and then routed me back to Ford when they determined they wouldn't come out to were I live.

Also, FYI, codes from the cloud indicate that its a 12V battery issue but it seems like that may have triggered a larger issue because I've fully charged the 12V with an external charge, and the issue persists.

I'm seriously questing the ability for this truck to have the longevity we expect in vehicles.
