If you‘re not in a big hurry, I’d give it some time and see if you get it OTA.Turns out my vehicle is confirmed to no longer be in fleet status and my FDRS lisc expired. At least I was able to get into the 4.0 sw range and rev 610. That at least got me PAAK. Not sure what else to do now.

You don’t have to be driving, but your 12V battery needs to be at a healthy state of charge, which is most easily accomplished by driving.I am hopeful, now that I am in the 4.0s. Seems like I read you have to be driving to get the OTA, but I could be wrong. My problem is that I do not have a long commute. About 20 minutes, so not enough time if this is the case.

I presume you have a battery tender/charger since you were using FDRS for updates.

ODB connector and an app such as CarScanner. Is there a way to check the 12v level without going under frunk?
The voltmeters will not show SOC, just the voltage of the LVB.ODB connector and an app such as CarScanner.
There are also voltmeters that plug into power ports.
Correct. But it can give hints, especially if a really low SoC.The voltmeters will not show SOC, just the voltage of the LVB.
It you bought a demo/mannequin and cannot schedule an update after an alert because the option is not visible (e.g., Fleet vehicle):
Seems Ford has determined they need a written request and proof of ownership.
Don't call and waste time explaining your problem because after you do that you will be asked to send an email. Just sent an email to:
I sent the email and Ford cleared the block on the OTAs in less than an hour and i was able to access the Schedule Update screen. Truck is now fully updated.
- State the OTA's are blocked on your F-150 Lightning due to Fleet setting
- Include proof you own the vehicle (any document that proves you own the truck AND has your name and a VIN on it) which can include a copy of:
- Proof of Insurance
- Sales contract
- Registration
- Title
- ???
Simple request and from my view and Ford's eliminates potential fraud.
Good Luck
Well since you just got the new Sync UI and are now starting to see OTAs roll in there will be more. A lot more.Ford Power-Up 3.5.5 was just installed
