Tailgate button on center screen

Are we talking F-150 Lightning here? If so, please specify year and trim e.g., 2024 Flash.

There are physical buttons for frunk (and tailgate if powered) on the left side of the dash. Have never seen anything on the center screen - maybe post a picture.

Yes, it a flash. The center consol,screen has the frunk soft button in the upper right corner of the screen where you can set the drive modes

Hmm, never noticed that! You still have the physical button on the left though.

Probably because not all models have a power tailgate?

OP, there is a function somewhere in vehicle settings related to power tailgate operation, see if a settings change makes that icon functional.

The Ford.com has steered me wrong before, but it's showing the Flash has a standard power tailgate, and optionally with lighting package.

The 2024 XLT has only tailgate power lock

The Flash has the power tailgate up and down. (No power folding mirrors though)
