These recalls are good investment to scare people off batteries and put them back into ICE rather than putting more money into battery manufacturing plants.

So my Old 2022 Escape PHEV had both the engine and now potentially the battery….so so glad I jumped on the lightning when I say they had one local spec’d how I wanted it.

As a Ford stockholder, this is annoying. As a Lightning owner, I couldn’t care less because for 8 years or 100K miles the battery is covered by the warranty.

I feel as if this was a recall with my F150 Lightning as well. Honestly, these things are going to happen and I do not see it as a big deal especially with relatively new technology!!
