Good advice here, I decided to jump on an 8yr / 125,000mi warranty through Granger. At one point I thought I was only going to own the Lightning until a mid-size option or the T3 came out, but now I'm leaning towards hanging onto it for a while since it's been a fantastic ride so far.

was it EV specific?

or the non EV one ? (If that’s what it would be called)

thanks!

It was not listed as ev specific but you have to sign up with your VIN so Ford is aware it's a Lightning.

Thanks. I went for it too. 125k 10 yr w$100 deductible.

It was a thousand less at Granger than at Flood Ford.

Kathy at Granger confirmed it’s the EV version on the Ford Extended Plan.

Their website just isn’t updated to reflect that yet.

The Flood Ford site does specifically say EV in their purchase process, so I was concerned it was that much more expensive to get the EV version, but no, it’s just the pricing difference between dealers.

with only 200 to go now until I hit 36k, glad to have this in place now.

Truck has been awesome, and I’ve racked up the miles quickly because it’s the family favorite for roadtrips, despite the range anxiety 😬 . So comfortable !
