Truck not lighting up for greeting lately

Bringing this thread back to life. My welcome lighting was set to on when I picked up the truck 10/1. Yesterday I setup my "Phone as Key" and the welcome lighting never works when I have my phone with me. Is there a setting in the FordPass app to correct this, or do I just ditch the Phone as Key since I like having the welcome lighting?

It is very hit or miss. I've had my truck for over 2 years - it is never consistent when it will light up and when it doesn't. It does it for me about 50% of the time or maybe even a little less.
