True, but the guy 49% voted for said he knew nothing about it, and they believe whatever he says.
You mean to tell us that he lied? I'm shocked I tell you.

But, to wade into a REAL sensitive topic, I'm not a bourbon expert but I do know my way around the scotch aisle. That substance is usually better with a drop or two of water or, if need be, a cube of ice.

IM not so HO of course...

These are the real issues to be solved.

I know nothing about this subject, i should go do "research".

Blaming the secratary of transportation for an airplane crash that took place within a few hours of him being sworn in makes me think otherwise
Not laying blameā€¦ fairly criticizing him for an unprofessional frat boy response in the immediate aftermath, casting blame himself on unsupportable assertions as to possible causes before bodies and black boxes even recovered.

Absolutely. Iā€™m a bourbon šŸ„ƒ guy so Iā€™ll hit that, just doing my part to be a ying to the yang on here and remind everyone that EVā€™s should not be a partisan topic. I am proudly conservative and proudly drive an evā€¦ and if you want greater adoption you need to embrace the other 50% not alienate them
Great. But you may be a unicorn. From a policy position, conservatives responsible for setting and executing policy are hostile to pro-ev and related policies. Just because. Maybe ā€œconservativeā€ is no longer the correct label.

Iā€™d have a slightly different view. Which is that the ā€œconservativeā€ lawmakers have more of a pro big oil & gas perspective that can likely be traced by $$$. Maybe. And thus to the extent that EV can be a threat to the business of big oil they (lawmakers) will be unsympathetic or outright hostile to anything EV.

Iā€™d say unicorns are more likely to be found if you believe in the magic of critical thinking. I donā€™t find luebriā€™s views at all unusual. In fact, I think it is hard to put most of us in a box with a label, but somebody really wants us to think we have to fit into the box. I mean, why else are they required to add at least one ice cube for Peteā€™s sake?

I might agree if the republican viewpoint hadn't had a significant shift from independent thinking, to conformity above all else. I was a republican, up until the point where the VAST majority of them I met could not identify three political items they disagreed with the republican party on, or three they agreed with the democrats on. And I don't mean "Bob is doing it wrong", I mean direction for this country.

Bottom line there are THOUSANDS of topics, from foreign aid to farm aid, so if you think out of only two options one party is absolutely right, and the other absolutely wrong, then that's because you picked a tribe and it told you what to think.
