@SpaceEVDriver I assume that you removed the trim piece from your bumper to take this picture. If so, MUCH THANKS! I'm now wondering if this trim piece is considered part of the bumper cover assembly. This makes me wonder why it is missing from the replacement bumper cover.

If still possible, could you take a picture of the entire trim piece, both front and back?

Thanks!
I did remove it, but I have already re-installed it. I won't be able to take it off again until sometime next week at the earliest. If you haven't got a photo of it from someone else before Monday, ping me again and I'll try to take another photo.

mistakes happen, hopefully the trucks did its job and kept everyone safe. I can see the center light bar is still there, so it couldn’t have been that bad…. Was it parts or labor that drove the cost?
Randall, don't be fooled by the picture. Virtually everything from the right corner panel, across the front of the truck, to the left corner panel were replaced. The body shop kept going back to the insurance company with addendum after addendum. Lots of parts and labor. Also, the Ford dealership got about $6,000 for fixes, calibration, and updates.

Six slots across the bumper.

The part number is NL34-17D957-A-PIA-03. Ask the dealer to look that up. I wasn't able to find it online but maybe someone with access to the Ford systems can find it.

Thanks! Can you send pictures of the entire piece, front and back?

Thanks for the clarification. Do you know how much frame damage there was? Did it extend back past the front wheels?

Sadly with it saying PIA, that part won't be available on its own. PIA means Part In Assembly, to the plant and to service that is one complete part

I'm pretty sure PIA means Pain in the Ass, or at least that's what it seems to be for the OP!
Sure is a PIA, though this is really on the body shop to resolve. I'm sure they will not like having to order another bumper assembly since they long ago closed out the repair with my insurance company.

Frankly it is a really simple piece that just snapped off with a trim tool after removing the license plate holder. The front license plate holder screws right through that piece into the two centre holes although it doesn't look like you have a front license plate.
If you have to fix this on your own dime, maybe just find a piece of generic black plastic trim and tape it on with some good-quality double-sided trim tape. Even a good piece of vinyl would cover the holes. It looks like it simply covers access holes for bolts behind and acts as a landing pad for the front license plate mount.
It is about 1/8th of an inch thick, 1 1/4 inches wide and 23 3/4 inches long.
If you go the vinyl route, you can look for the part at an auto recycler at your own pace and pop it right over top the vinyl when you find one.

They will need to order a new bumper and will not make the mistake again in the future

I had a chance to take a quick photo of the back side. The front pretty much what you see in your photo above.
