Certainly sounds like we can lower our DEFCON level now
Folks affected should look at system / app notification list, look at the not approved filter, switch on those apps that were switched off, flipp them back on.

It will not connect to, or start, our Mach-E.
Do you have to pick which vehicle you want to interact with?
I don't have multiple Ford's, is this seemless or requires interaction by the user?

Yes. And it makes me unnecessarily angry.

When going from one vehicle to another, you have to switch vehicles in the app, shut off Bluetooth and then turn Bluetooth back on. And even then, the first time you go to "start" the vehicle, you get a "key not detected" fault. You have no choice but to put in your backup code or dig the FOB out. Then it will work every time until you switch vehicles again.

OK. I woke up to yet another big update, 2 within a week. I received the Software Update S918US5CXJX. I think it was a Security Update, and PaaK is working just fine, so far.

The updates to core security patch level on Android devices may have broken functionality of the WATCH4 app for Fordpass, symptom is a brief flash of Fordpass on your watch, then return to list of applets.

Fix: uninstalled the Fordpass watch applet, reinstall it, should resume working correctly.

If anybodies phone has been affected, the January update is rolling out. I have an S23 Ultra on AT&T and have received it.

No issues with my S24 and PAAK. But when fordpass automatically updates, I have to restart fordpass to restart PAAK
Do you have the base S24 or the S24 Plus?

Interesting, I got yet another UPDATE for my S24U this morning, I haven't had any adverse effects yet.

I got this notification on my Ford Pass app this morning as well. Just updated my Pixel 9 Pro to the March update but it still says that PAAK needs optimized. Oh well it seems to be working so not to worried but not sure what changed that fixed it.
