Water in rear light bar

I just noticed the other day that my replacement lightbar now has water in it now too. I called the dealership and they said they don't have the parts and don't expect them until Q4 2023. Same for the windshield wiper motor recall.

I don't think they are going to do any replacements until the recall parts come in. One exception is if the light stops functioning.

Most of us have probably received the first recall letter stating that we'll get another letter when the parts come in late this year. They probably changed yours with another from the bad batch.

The wiper motor recall should not be the same issue. Parts are available for that.

Not at my dealership apparently. No worries, it works fine for me so far.

Yeah, my replacement happened before the recall. Theyt just replaced it with one of the original parts. I now need the updated part.

Wait are the recall parts actually available now? They stopped doing replacements once the recall was issued and we were supposed to be "notified" once the repair procedure is available again.

Water appeared in my rear lightbar earlier this week. It was dry until then. Currently at the dealer getting the wiper motor recall done and other recalls addressed.

I had my lightbar and wiper motors replaced a couple weeks ago as part of the recall. When I called the dealer regarding the recall, they said they'll order the parts and let me know when they come in. It took about a week for them to come in.

My dealer knows I need the taillight replaced, still no word on part availability. Seems to be a slow trickle on parts getting sent out.

I’ve had mine replaced twice. Once from a recall and the second time under warranty. They’re not being truthful if your still within your warranty miles/time.
