When will dealers receive Lightning mannequins?

Any dealers out there care to share when they will be receiving mannequins? Being able to test drive before ordering - what a concept!

My dealer expects theirs end of March. No clue what they base they on lol.

We have been hearing rumors of production starting in April, that would put the mannequin deliveries in the May to June timeframe

Our mannequin has an April 11 production date. I would guess it shows up in late May.

I think as we saw with Broncos many dealers will hold the mannequins for the 6 months without test drives then sell for a huge ADM.

There will be PRO mannequins. My ordering dealer will have one.

When do you think we will see Wave 1 trucks? Early June?

Ford should send an email to all reservation holders that the demo vehicles are there to be test driven and any dealer that refuses a reservation holder a test drive will have all of their allocation pulled in the future and the demo unit taken back.
I can see not allowing non-reservation holders a test drive as they won't get one for a few years.

I am willing to bet none of those demo vehicles are going to Canada...my dealer still doesn't even know how many he is getting (in BC). BC does have a ZEV mandates and there are Tesla vehicles everywhere here. So we have a huge demand for electric cars in Vancouver.

I hate to make guesses without knowing all the facts. It depends on when we start production and how long we "batch and hold".

Don't forget to add time (3 to 8 weeks) for shipping after production.

That depends on where you live. I've had vehicles I've ordered, that were produced at DTP and MAP, be at my dealer the day after they built.

Recently? I am going on the Mach-e experience. There have been a lot of delays waiting for drivers and waiting for enough volume at a shipping hub going to the same area to fill a truck.

That said, the Lightning may ship with the ICE F150's which will take care of the truckload issue and shipping from the US will hopefully save time vs. shipping from Mexico. Truck driver shortage is still an issue though.
