Will you renew BlueCruise?

Don’t get me wrong, I am happy with 1.0 for my driving habits, but I can’t even get 1.4 in time never mind the 1.2 that was promised a long time ago.

So my answer would be, it depends.

I use Bluecruise every day on my commute to work down I-5 through Seattle. It makes the commute less stressful and I think safer. I commute 56 miles round trip. But if I retire and don’t have that commute I’m not sure I would pay for it. Luckily I got the 3 years when I bought my 2023 Lariat.

NO. I can steer for $50/mo. I also don't do that many long road trips.

If it were $20-30/mo and included unlimited cellular data and navigation, then maybe.

Ford isn't doing themselves any favors when it comes to convincing people to splurge. Slow as molasses updates that only bring moderate improvements and, as noted, it's only usable on controlled access divided highways so you're pretty much limited to interstates. Besides the Lightning isn't exactly known as being a road trip beast so it's going to be a hard sell for most.

Love..love our lightning. However, between the horror stories about module replacements, misc service issues, crappy dealerships, the lack of consistent and useful updates, the price for BC... what the heck is Ford doing? They are either just not interested in pursuing EVs anymore and/or incapable of keeping their business in order. Talk about snatching defeat from the jaws of victory....

No I would not pay for BC.

Not useable on our 2-lane roads and we rarely use freeways as they are 70-80 miles away. Maybe take one long trip every 2-3 years. So no, won’t be renewing. Came w/‘23 Lariat. Though I wouldn’t have ordered. The Lariat was a spec-order purchase backout.

Hi All,
Been liking the BlueCruise feature and the new v1.4 is an improvement. But still at $500 a year is it something worth renewing to you? Many road sections are not yet enabled for it, I’m finding it hard to justify. Perhaps on a long road trip but how many times a year would that happen. Would be nice to do ala carte , pay for the months you really need it then cancel. Anyway wondering if other members think the same way.

There is a One mile bypass that it works on 30 miles from my house….. that’s a no for me….

I have never used Blue Cruise, and I have no interest in trying it out. I commute daily about 35 miles each way to work 3 days per week, and then drive around town. Don't see the utility of it. I prefer to drive my vehicle.
