I haven’t noticed it popping up on I-5, mostly in the Everett area. I did use it on 90 going skiing yesterday, it dropped out a couple times between North Bend and the pass. But I’m happy with the regular cruise, I just reach up every 10 seconds and touch the wheel. For me I don’t drive the mapped highway much.
Mine works from Mill Creek to Boeing Field with just a drop out through downtown. Most of the way up north except the express landed.

I do road trips In the truck. It is nicely quiet and comfortable. BC is much less useable than my Tesla’s AP BC cuts out of hands-free frequently. Tesla is slick and is also hands free. When it comes up behind a slower car, it will automatically put the turn signal on, then shift into the passing lane, pass, then signal on and shift back to the right lane. Makes me smile.

I won’t be buying or subscribing to BC.
Seems like BC 1.5 adds auto Lane change feature.

I've been using BC1.4 for a couple months and it's a game changer for me. It's not a great value but I use it every time I go to work so I'll pony up.

This is the exact opposite of my experience, will you please elaborate?
Mine now drives like a 16 year old driver thats texting. It is all over the fucking lane... again. They solved this with whatver CSP to stop the ping ponging... but now its programmed in to "give space" or whatever bullshit. So now it moves all over in the lane unpredictably.

At low speeds, mine has forgotten how it can modulate the brakes vs use regen. Its super jerky now at low speed stop and go traffic. 1.0 didnt have these issues. This should be even easier to get right as the radar in the cruise just needs to follow the car in front. But it can't even do that.

I only can get it to change lanes 60% of the time with the turn signal function... If that's not working, is it really driving correctly?

That sounds like something is miscalibrated to me. That's not my experience at all.

I love my blue cruise, but updates are too few and too far between to justify it. The point of a subscription is frequent updates,

I picked up a 2022 Lightning Platinum three weeks ago, so now I have a '23 Mach E GT and the Lightning. I absolutely LOVE BlueCruise, but I'm not sure what I'm going to do when the trials end (October for Lightning, 3/1/26 for Mach E). It would be amazing if Ford charged per household rather than per vehicle.

On Order: 2022 F150 Raptor, Atlas Blue, 801a, PP
after re-calibrating with for scan (after lift/tires) and then updating to the newer version with lane change and more availability I really like it. For me it would be worth it however I recently bought the open pilot for wife's escalade and tried it on my truck and it works well (except for errors on startup that there apparently is a fix for)......may just use that as it also gives blue cruise capabilities on back roads

I am honestly on the fence. The price is high, but I do use it (good ole BC 1.0) all the time, especially on longer trips. I probably do 5k to 6k miles per year on BC now. My 3 year trial expires in October, so I will have to see where things are at then.

Hi All,
Been liking the BlueCruise feature and the new v1.4 is an improvement. But still at $500 a year is it something worth renewing to you? Many road sections are not yet enabled for it, I’m finding it hard to justify. Perhaps on a long road trip but how many times a year would that happen. Would be nice to do ala carte , pay for the months you really need it then cancel. Anyway wondering if other members think the same way.

I will not be renewing, Ford already charged me three times when I was supposed to be on a free trial. Ford would not return the fees as they told me they would, I had to eventually report it as fraud to my credit card company. Since I did not authorize for it to make those charges.

I won't be renewing my blue cruise. I seldom travel and would actually prefer turning it off and just use lane centering and anti collision without blue cruise. I never take my hands off my steering wheel.
