You might want to explain what you did and what doesn't work.

I don't watch YouTube at home, nevermind the truck.

You click on the app on the screen when connected to a Wi-Fi network...

It should be under the entertainment tab when parked. But you will be very underwhelmed. I used it when I first got truck. Its clunky and slow. I just use my iPad if I need entertainment.

If you want YouTube to function while away from a wifi signal, and you don't want to use your cell phone hotspot data plan, you can subscribe to Connected Services > Premium Connectivity for ~$10 a month.

This will enable the trucks TCU connection to make apps like Youtube and Karaoke work (if you have it)

What model of lightning do you have? The 12” screen models don’t get all the fancy entertainment gadgets that the flash and up get.
