Cool, last time I saw discussion about the 1000lb EPA numbers I got the sense that it was still speculation.
I've seen quite a few people who have posted Youtube reviews quote that as information direct from a Ford source. Anything from Ford probably can be taken as speculation though, and people still seem to think the actual range numbers might be slightly higher than what's reported.

I wasn't sure where to put this...I was just on a call with Ford and someone in the EV group just said the 230/300 range target *is* with 1000lb payload. I hadn't heard if this was confirmed but I would take this person's word for it since it was presented as part of 2022MY vehicle review for my company, which is a very high volume Ford customer.
Someone has quoted Darren Palmer as "confirming" that assertion. (Confirming the 230/300 is with 1000lbs). However in subsequent interviews he dodged the issue when asked. Based on Ford's strategy, I think they are being overly cautious here..pretty sure they want 300mi to be the expectation in MOST conditions.
