@greenne Sorry. There are two versions that were released today. The first was 2468 pages! We're on page 1868 of that version and on page 1240 of the shorter version as you pointed out.
No problem. Its Congress.

Important thing to note is the shorter version is the one Congress is going to try to get approved thru and its what everyone is close to agreeing on.

I didn't see much change at all regarding EVs so thats good.

Ask Ford to lock battery to SR now and charge you $7000 later to unlock the extra 70 miles range.
Wonder if Ford can make it a "dealer installed option". Let the games begin!

I'm leaning more and more towards the XLT+ ER.

FWIW here's the tentative pricing from survey. This should give us some idea. I am sure Ford has their accounting team running the numbers to see what they swing to get the Lariat ER under $74k.

DISCLAIMER" This is not official pricing from Ford, that has not been released yet. This was from an interest survey earlier this year. Very much subject to change. Stay tuned.

If Ford followed this....a Lariat (with ER battery)would be $67,474+$7000= 74.474 with NO options.(Just above cutoff)

Pricing
ProXLTXLT +LariatLariat +
Starting Price
MSRP$ 39,974$ 52,974$ 56,774$ 67,474$ 79,474

Extended-Range Battery$ 10,000$ 7,000OOS

Man, that's a kick in the groin for the Extended Range Lariat. By the pricing survey, it'll go over the $74000 cap by almost $500. Even if Ford lowers the price by $500, you won't be able to pick up any options.

So if I do get a Lightning, it will definitely be an extended range XLT+.

Maybe this bill really was the reason Ford delayed opening the order bank.
In the same boat at this point, but would likely take an ER Lariat with no other options over loaded ER XLT+. All I would really lose is the AT tires, but those are easy enough to add if the A/S tires suck in the snow.

the smallest ship in the sea has risen in the U.S. I suggest you focus on averages, not the tails. We have virtually wiped out poverty worldwide in the past 30 years. Not eliminated, but by more than 80%. Wealth came for a reason and jealousy and class warfare is absurd. Taking 100% of the wealth of the billionaires in this country would fund the government for less than eight months.
I assume he meant in the United States and possibly Europe.

Americans beat up on globalization but rest of the world has benefited greatly from globalization.

I want the blue cruise but could pass on everything else the Lariat makes standard over XLT.

Ya. You can get blue cruise on all trims of the mach-e. I'm hoping they change it to be available on all trims of lightning too

Yep. Powerboost for me. Lariat ER with no options? No thanks.

I am almost certain the the eye monitor camera for blue cruise is mounted behind the 15.5" screen, so you can't get it on the XLT with the smaller screen.

I am not sure why Blue cruise is such a big deal for folks, it is the same as adaptive cruise and lane centering, you can just take your hands off the wheel on select roads.

Hmm. The seemingly likely MSRP cap is squishing a lot of my anticipation for a Lightning. Iā€™m not sure what Iā€™m going to do now regarding my reservation.

Agreed. However, you can get BluesClues on the ICE F-150 even with the smaller screen so it is possible they can offer it on all trims.

I wonder which freedoms she thinks will be stripped away by this bill? Unless your parents are billionaires, then I totally understand her anger.
I tried to get her to explain that point, but dad cut me off.

Simple, his mom doesn't want to be victimized by robinhood. Taking your hard earned money is stripping the most important freedom of all.
She doesn't understand that stuff. I mean she considers cryptocurrency a tool of the anti-christ

I'm sure you don't need all of the options for a Lariat, you could probably configure it to be under the cap.

I'd wonder if there will be options on the first year at all.
