Just got a notification the Power-up 2.1 was installed. No info on what it fixed.

They really need to show what, and how was updated. That way we may know what new options changes are available or adjusted, fixed.
Some of us would want to know...those that don't can just skip it.

Yeah got this a week ago and no idea what it did. Hopefully the fact that it’s a full version change means they are making architectural changes that will help with future roll outs, though that is complete speculation. I just don’t know why you would make a full version change unless something significant is happening somewhere.

I just checked and I must’ve received 2.1 last night. I have it. But nothing beyond the arrow for CarPlay nav in the cluster.

I’m still waiting for Power-Up 1.7.1 to update for me and here you are with Power-Up 2.1 ….. @Ford Motor Company are you serious right now?!. I understand a metered deployment of OTA production software but now introducing full version number inconsistency and fragmentation without any clear explanation or communication from the manufacturer….. This has got to be addressed! My $800 iPhone can get consistent updates but my $60K vehicle can’t? Come on now…..

Clear Asks!

Fix the OTA Software deployment inconsistency and fragmentation.
Provide a user portal or method to download vehicle updates and install via other means (USB etc.)

Provide transparent version info for customer monitoring of their own vehicle and all module software. Audit and update modules on vehicles to current versions more often. The key here is transparency and reasons for deployment metering.
Thanks,

Literally every current and future @Ford Motor Company customer.

I got the update today. It seems to have added a feature to FordPass that allows you to turn on the horn and lights (like the panic button on the fob).

Wow I just received 1.7.1 last night. And I wish I could have blue cruise seeing that I paid for the prep package when I bought the truck almost a year ago... errr....

If you guys have had any past experience with the FordPass app, you wouldn't be complaining about being a little late on the update train. Ford has a track record of breaking features with every app update. Let somebody else be the guinea pig.

Anyone know what revision this is? Or a way to tell which version you are on?

I've had that button in FordPass since I bought the truck 3 weeks ago.
