I got 3.1 the day it was released and 3.2 was the same and the recall and then I go on vacation, come back after 13 days and hope the truck had updated and nothing.. Going to drive myself crazy resetting everything and hooking up to wifi at my house that isn't a mesh network.. The things we do.

on the bright side, it appears my truck lost only 1 percent of the charge after sitting for almost 2 weeks.

I think you're mistaken about that. The documentation says trucks don't update when they are DC charging.

This is correct and while we see Ford struggling once again to just get these updates pushed period; a year or so back they touted very highly that they could update while driving. That narrative seems to have disappeared.

I'll just be happy for an update again one of these days.

I just updated the Dealers Demo Lariat tonight to 3.4 while charging on the mobile charger. I tried yesterday 4 times with no luck. Took a trip today in it & it updated with no problem tonight upon my return.

So there is more to the story we need to know. Was it on 3.1? or did it already have 3.2 and 3.3? Did you have the download icon? Did it just download, or. was it downloaded and waiting and automatic updates are off and just happens no one else had applied it?

I think most of us with problems are stuck on 3.1 and trying to get the next release which I guess should be 3.2. There were 3 releases in a row, many of us only got the first and we are stuck. I know I have a download, but it won't install, I assume it to be 3.2.

What I don't know - must they each be done in order as they come, or if they were to get 3.4 sent, will it also now installed 3.2 and 3.3? Or must they still be done one at a time and in order?

This weekend was my first chance to spend any time with the Lightning. My dealer let me pick it up Saturday morning & I’ll return it Tuesday. When I picked it up he said it needed updated & asked me if I’d do it.
I don’t know which version it was on but the message when I checked said it needed the 3.4 update. I assume it was not downloaded because the dealer said I’d need to pair it with my WiFi.
I tried Saturday evening 4 different times with no luck. The screen said it was preparing the update & then nothing. I never was there to see if it gave any messages when it failed.
Today I put a couple hundred miles on it. I must say I’m really impressed with the truck. Blue Cruise worked great.
When I got home I plugged it into the mobile charger I watched as it gave the message as before that it was preparing the update. It then started the update with no hitches. I didn’t do anything different than before except it was plugged in & driven during the day.

Thanks for that info. Sounds like this truck likely had the first updates without issue then and just needed some connectivity. Not likely a break through after being hung up like it seems many of us likely are.

Month later and still no updates.
Stuck at 3.2.

REALLY want the 3.4 for the so called better 1PD.

I signed up and do not have the update. I have info though that there is a problem getting 3.2 triggered, the download is on the truck.

Right now that page says my vehicle doesn't have any new early access products available.
