Factory Wheels with Aftermarket Tire Thread

why wouldnt that work? It ends up being a 34.8 x 11.2. Ive seen some guys run a 285/65r20 which is roughly 34.6x11.2 with stock wheel and no level. They claim to have no rubbing.

I know a member on here had them and he rubbed, maybe not on pavement but on articulation I'm sure it'll rub. Also Wild Willies Customs did a truck with that tire on a level and the owner left a comment on the video that it rubs at full lock. It was a 2wd though so on a 4wd it probably wont be bad but it depends if you're willing to have some rub vs none.

Edit: The member on here that ran that size had aftermarket wheels with a more aggressive offset and the guy on the video had stock wheels but 2WD so actually I don’t think I’ve seen anyone rock that size on a 4wd truck with stock wheel yet.

Has anyone ran the Kumho Road Venture AT51 tire? Looks to be a solid all around tire and good in snow but also towards the budget side of things.. I’m looking to get a 33 inch tire and possibly a 2 inch level either at the time of purchase of tires or later. That being said will the 275/70R18 work without a level or with or both? Appreciate any and all help!

Oh man. Its been a while since I've hit these forums. All these trucks are looking dope, guys and gals. Love the factory wheels with new tires.

I have a 21 fx4 with the factory 20s and 285/65/20 ko2's without a level. Been rocking them for 10 months. As mentioned in a previous post, there is very minimal rubbing on my left front tire when I turn the wheel all the way right and it's only apparent when in reverse. Minor inconvenience and tbh I've just been too lazy to trim whatever is rubbing.

Well after some further consideration, going with a 295/70/18 is probably a better option all around anyway. For one thing, you can get an SL tire which is considerably lighter than an LT. That will help with the hit of MPG loss from a level. Also, I have the 3.31 rear end. I wish ford offered the 3.55 for the 5.0L. In hindsight, I'm kinda kicking myself for not going with the 3.73. Oh well...

Yeah that's probably the safest route since multiple people are running that size without issue already, its going to look good!

I had my fox 2.0 leveling kit put in today with 295/60/20 ridge grapplers. The upper control arm is extremely close to the tire even in the neutral position. It rubs quite a bit at full lock. The dealer did lower the spring perch 5/8” like Rousch recommends for the 2021 MY. I also still have 1.5 inch of rake left. I have a 2021 F150 502a lariat power boost with the max tow package. Please help! Did the dealer do something wrong?

Man that sucks! I don't think the dealer did anything wrong other than maybe not being knowledgeble. I believe the power boost weighs almost 1k pounds more and the max tow has higher capacity springs in the back. It's possible that the fox 2.0 coilovers weren't meant for it. I also think Fox is still working on products for the 21+ F-150's. You may have go with a puck style level or check out Icon Vehicle Dynamics and see if they an offering for the PB. Good luck! I have the exact same truck was thinking about doing the same set up. Did you find much MPG change with it being a powerboost and the KO2 being alot heavier than the stocks?

Sorry for the late response. I haven't been on in a long time. It lost about 2-3 mpg depending on how I drive. With good weather and if I'm conscious about accelerating and braking I can easily get 20 mpg with it. Otherwise it's usually ~18.

How much rake did you have before? A lot of these trucks have 3.5" of rake, so 1.5" is to be expected with these coilovers.

As far as the tire being close to the balljoint, get a set of 1/4" spacers for the front and you'll be good.

Only spacers for the front? Will it look weird with the rear not having the same poke?

It's only 1/4" per side. And the front track width is slightly less than the rear stock.
