WHAT'S THIS?! $30,000 ADM!! Asked the dealer TWICE and was told twice there wouldn't be any. Glad I ordered a MME from another dealer. Once Ford's tax credits run out I won't be one of their customers anymore. Ridiculous.

I brought our dealer this business. I did the research. I'll put in the order. If they're anything like my MME dealer I'll also be cleaning up the purchase order for them as they can't figure out how to PDF it and send a fuzzy JPG instead. The ONLY thing they're going to do is wash and vacuum the car. That is not a $30k job.

Utterly ridiculous. Hoping they'll rectify this quick.
WTH, You need to out this dealer for this blatant thievery.

If you didn't confirm this order just change dealers like the others here have. If enough people call and move their orders from these crazy ADM dealers Ford may notice and do what they promised and cancel all the dealers allocations.

I would hope when an order gets moved the ADM dealer loses that allocation.

What is this dealer's name to avoid ???

You must be in a very wealthy part of town to get this type atrocious ADM.

Called that number earlier and was told switching dealers would put me at the back of the line, despite my early reservation time (before the unveil even started). Anyone getting a different answer? I REALLY, REALLY want this vehicle but Ford's dealers have made this such a PITA.
Have you been invited to order? If not wait until you are invited to order. Call the 1800 and switch dealerships prior to order.

It took 20 minutes to called Ford, switched dealers, order and got confirmation from new dealer.

Yes, I'd been invited to order. I refreshed my Ford account all day long and called Ford immediately. Ford, however, was insisting this would push me back. I'll be following @F150ROD's suggestion and call back to switch dealers once the MME dealer confirms they won't play this game.

Wow!!! $30k is excessive greed. Wonder if the customers in the first two waves agreed to pay that.

The list of non-ADM dealers is out of date and any promises over the phone are worth about their weight in gold.

My dealer promised no ADM or forced adds and then I placed my order to find a $4k ADM. I called him and he assured me it was a software issue. The ADM is standard on all their truck but he said there wasn't an easy option to filter out the Lightnings. He has to go into each package and exempt it. It's possible some of the people seeing ADMs are because of that.

He sent me confirmation I would only be paying MSRP in writing, which like the verbal promise is only worth the amount of time someone puts in to enforce the contract. When I called Ford the customer service rep advised me to get everything in writing so I laughed and asked, "and what is Ford going to do if the dealership just doesn't follow what they promised to do?" (remember, that's how we got here in the first place!). She thought about it for a second and then apologized for the difficulties. And I get it, that's the problem, what is one to do? But same with getting something in writing, if the person making the promises doesn't abide by what they wrote down the only other option is a drawn-out court case.

This was the problem I ran into. When I tried to switch dealerships this morning the rep said the system wouldn't allow her to because the order had already been changed from a reservation to an order. The dealership hadn't confirmed the order, yet. I was pressed for time because I initially ordered an XLT SR and I was worried about them selling out.

But it all worked out in the end--Lariate SR in Star White, max tow and tow tech for MSRP.

Finally got the dealer today to send me where I am in line. 10th apparently and they supposedly have an allocation of 5. No wave assigned. Dealership I was reserved at got sold to a competitor in the market. Ford reservation site also shows this now…

Does the Lariat Ext Range come with the tailgate step.? I see where it is powered up and down, but don't see where it states it also has the step as well.
Think you need to get that option for $430. Seems like a worthwhile option.

You sure? My Lightning Lariat 511 didn't have an option for tail gate step. I assume it's like my 21 F150 that the work surface and step are included in the upgraded power tail gate.

So when I ordered it said there was no ADM. Does that mean the dealer can't add anything now? Or can they add it at delivery?
My understanding is they can't add it after the fact.

My Wave 3 order email came in at 4:59 Eastern time. I was out, hadn't checked my account, so placed the order and received confirmation at 6:05. Iced blue silver Platinum, most all options, no ADM, waiting dealer confirmation. Grieco is one of Ford's largest south FL dealers, says I am the first Lightning order they have, and they have only one in Wave 3.

Surprisingly the dealer did their work up front to align with their long ago stated $5k ADM. Credit they’re clear about it, and happy to now call Ford and change to a nearby dealer who’s MSRP.
