That is what I am thinking.. it’s more of a mash up of files .. if you can in Forscan see how many lines you have for your as build.. should be 14 now 11 before.So far, I haven’t noticed anything obviously missing. I’m wondering if the PMI restored what the update failed to load and now the IPC software is kind of a Frankenstein’s monster of two different builds—the original and the update. In any event, three things I have observed: (1) FORscan seems to be reporting valid numbers for all files; (2) I have all my gauges and menus (as far as I know); and (3) to my surprise, I did not lose any of the FORscan changes to the IPC I made last month to display digital engine and transmission temps. I expected those to be overwritten with new IPC software. That seems to suggest an incomplete installation. FDRS as of Thursday, however, was reporting that the IPC software was up to date. So, I don’t know where I’m at now.
When I get home I’ll pull your car and look at what is reported and see if in fact it all updated or not
