Does anyone know if there are more adaptors available for the mobile power cord. I have a nema 6-50 outlet. I know the tesla unit has a 6-50 adaptor and the Ford unit has swappable 110 and 14-50 plugs, seems it would make sense to have more flexibility with the adaptors..
My understanding is that Ford only offers and will work with the 120 and the 14-50 240 plugs bundled with it. Tesla offered about 7 or 8 options for their mobile connector, but only the two from Ford.

I guess this will get interesting as I don't know what plugs look like in Canda or if this truck is ever exported overseas, will they have other adapters at that time?

I also got an email but mine was specific to getting ready for my charger and referenced that I had an ER.

So much for Tom Moloughney's estimate of $2,500 to $3,000. Although it does say sold out.
I guess that makes my decision easier on which charger to buy. I think I'm going to stick with another Tesla charger and get an adapter. I was about 60% going to buy the Ford one, but now there's nothing to buy.

The video you linked says that the 240 charger gets "about 20 miles per hour of charge", but the email I just got from Ford says "The 30-amp Ford Mobile Power Cord is included with all models. It’s portable so you can use it at home or take it with you when you travel. It’s estimated to add an average of 13 miles of range per charging hour on a 240V NEMA 14-50 outlet".

So which is it, 20 miles or 13? That's a pretty big difference.
Actually, miles per hour is USELESS as a measure of charging. Three reasons:

1) As noted, each vehicle gets different miles per kWh of range, not to mention how it's impacted by driving style.

2) Weather DRAMATICALLY impacts range. In winter, a 40% drop isn't out of the question.

3) Take amperage x volts to get how many kWh the charger is delivering. If the charger is 30 amps and your house gives it 240 volts, you get 7.2 kWh of power. However, if your house delivers more volts, like 249, you get 7.5 kWh or almost 4% more. So that 20 just became almost 21. I use a JuiceBox 48, so I'm around 11.9 kWh.

The 30A charger is considered a mobile one. You can bring it to a friend/family's house or hotel. I've managed to find 3 hotels along my travels where they had 14-50 outlets instead of dedicated charging hardware.
Exactly what I was planning on using it for - at the in laws house and in the garage at the office. The in-laws live in a a rural area without much in the way of charging stations. Assuming the ER arrives with both (mobile and 80amp) I’d just have to install the outlet at their house and bring the mobile.

There is one potentially useful piece of information that can be derived from that video. If the mach-e can charge roughly 20 mph relative to the F150's 13 mph, one can use those numbers relative to the mach-e's m/kwh to calculate Ford's estimation of the F150's m/kwh.

I haven't done the calculations yet but someone now has everything they need to get a rough estimate of what Ford, at least, expects the F150 to perform at under average driving conditions.

2.3 miles per kWh.

I'm familiar with their published information.

Just one more data point if one wanted to attempt to verify that published number :)

I'm getting an SR Lariat, so won't be getting the 80A charge station. I'd like to use the included 30A charger as a backup, so will be getting another charger to install as a permanent charger in the garage. I've got 50A available to hook up to, so I'd like to make the most of it and get a 40A-ish charger. What 3rd party chargers are there in that range which people recommend?

For all those that bought the ER, you have the Ford Charger Pro coming (including me). I have no plans on installing this for a couple of different reasons:

1 - I live in an older house and fully expect to have to pay over $10k to have all of the equipment installed, and upgrades to the panel for the house backup.
2- The wife's PHEV does not have the CCS connector, so she would not be able to use this.

I've heard mention of another EVSE coming with ALL Lightings regardless of battery size. Do we have information on this to include plug type and max amps?

Is anyone with the SR interested in buying my Ford Charger Pro? What should I expect to get for it?

Honestly a ton. Juicebox, etc; Search Amazon for 40amp EV charger and go to town :)

Before buying any charger, the first place people should go is to their local utility company's website. Many utilities either sell discounted chargers, or provide a rebate if you buy a certain brand/model. They do this because they tap into the data to analyze usage, and also may restrict or push charging (restrict in peak periods, push in excess production periods).

I got $500 for buying either a ChargePoint Flex or a JuiceBox Charger. With a $500 rebate, and the now expired 30% credit, it was almost free.

Ah, that's not what I was referring to.

13 is 65% of 20.

3.5 (Mach-E) x 65% is 2.3...

Of course the numbers are going to match since they're both Ford provided...

I am getting a SR XLT and do not have plans to install any house backup power.

I think either the Charge Station Pro or any 48 amp charge station (Juice Box, Ford Connected Charge Station, etc.) would all serve the same purpose for me.

Based on the pricing of $1,300 (CSP) vs $800 (CCS) or less, is the $500 difference worth the potential for later adding backup power? There has to be an extra value point for the CSP over the CCS but I'm not sure I would spend an extra $500 (or more since other non-Ford alternatives are less than $800) at the moment.
