ECU module programming guide using FDRS

Try clicking the little refresh button on the right of the Run button for the FDRS download. This refreshed my APIM software to install after I clicked it and allowed me to install the latest available update to the truck.

I will try that thank you. I am going to work on it all day Thursday. I am just out of time this week.

I think you are where I am -- 21281 rev 244..

There is 22028 rev 358 and then a minor one at 22034 people have posted.

That minor one was still almost a gigabyte and was the one that added at-speed-cameras.

Nope. Unfortunately, mine's an XLT 302a without the extra cameras.

While I had my 2 day license last week, I repeatedly checked for any "new" updates that might appear after applying my current set of updates. Nothing changed prior to my license expiring. I thought Ford was pushing updates to FDRS and the system would simply determine update eligibility. I work in IoT and that's how we build our updaters. So if the system is responsible deciding/pushing updates why are only some trucks getting these newest updates while others are not?

What's the current APIM update? Finally got Gateway and all ccm modules to pass and now I only show an IPC update. But I am just checking on the computer its not hooked up to my truck. SYNC saying 212B rev 244

I'm only guessing, but there are pre-requisites that must be met that are not instantaneous. It could very well require a truck to make contact with the mothership on occasion to meet all criteria?

So a little information and update that might be useful to some people. I was completely perplexed as to why I could update my Mach E with no issues, but have been constantly fighting my truck. At the suggestion of Jesse I released my license and swapped to another computer, and it allowed me to finish all of my updates. So just because the laptop and mongoose worked on one car, it wasn't working on another. The working theory is that something in the vehicle profile in FDRS gets corrupted. The solutions appear to release your license and completely wipe FDRS and reinstall or swap to another computer. This is the same resolution as Platinum had with his persistent issues.

I'm up to date with what FDRS will give me, but I know I still have a TCU and APIM to go, so it's just a waiting game at this point.

That's just another example that things are constantly going on at the mothership. Because there's nothing any of us has done to finally clear the ghost updates that have recently been cleared.

I do wonder about the delay (in a few days it appears) for populating newer updates after an FDRS session has accomplished all currently available updates.

No idea.. Mine is an STX xl and I got all of them.
